The Woodlands Charities, Inc, is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization. Our Vision is to hold fund-raisers for and bring awareness to Charities!

Meet the Directors:

Nina Marino, The Nina Marino Team

Nina Marino is a Texas Residential and Commercial Realtor with Keller Williams Realty, and has lived in The Woodlands for over 30 years, where she and her Husband, Michael raised their three children. Nina is recognized as an accomplished Business Leader and Top Producer in the Houston and surrounding areas.

Her service to the Community is endless. She served as Chairman of the Board for The Woodlands Chamber of Commerce and Leadership Montgomery County, Founder and Member of Executive Women’s Alliance, 2X Past President of The Woodlands Lions Club, Member of the National, Texas and Houston Associations of Realtors, and Member of KW Commercial Division, Global Division, Luxury Division and a longtime Member of KW Agent Leadership Council (ALC). Nina has earned many Real Estate distinguished designations and awards.

The Nina Marino Team works hard to provide the best service in the Industry. They partner with their clients and provide a Team of experts that will not only Market locally, but throughout the World. It is their mission to inform all clients with the latest information in the Real Estate Industry to help them make the right decisions.

Nina decided after many years of service to her Community, that it would be in the best interest of the Community to create a non-profit organization that would benefit other hard working non-profits in the County. The Woodlands Charities, Inc. was formed with Nina Marino, Amy Milstead and James Stilwell. The Woodlands Charities organizes events to raise money for all Montgomery County Non-Profit Organizations.

Amy Milstead

Amy Milstead, the only daughter of seven children, serves as President of Milstead Automotive founded by her father, Dick Milstead.

She serves as Chairman of the Board for the Texas Towing & Storage Association (TTSA); Vice Chair of the Towing, Storage & Booting Advisory Board for Texas Department of Licensing & Regulations; and served as Chairman of the Board for The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce for the 2013-2014 term. Amy attended the State of the Union address (January 2014) in Statuary Hall on Capital Hill and addressed the RNC on behalf of small businesses as they are influenced by Obamacare. She has appeared as a featured expert on Fox News, ABC, CBS and the Live Well Network. She was featured in Houston Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” for outstanding leadership and innovation in her field, was chosen as a Woman of Distinction by the Montgomery County Council of Women’s Organizations, chosen as a Woman of Influence by Review it Magazine and recently nominated as Top Influential Persons in Montgomery County by People Scene Magazine. Milstead continues to innovate in its industry and won the Lone Star College Small Business Award in 2012.

Amy has two daughters & one adorable grandson. When she’s not running the family business she is spending time with her family, cooking, or enjoying the great outdoors.

James H. Stilwell, Martin, Earl & Stilwell LLP

James has a wide-ranging litigation practice that includes fiduciary litigation and probate, will contests and trust disputes, builder and developer litigation, commercial litigation and appeals. James has also served as a mediator, and as an expert witness.

James believes in giving back to his community. He has served in many roles, including:

  • Past Chairman of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce
  • Former Vice President & Director of the Woodlands Bar Association
  • Former Chairman of Leadership Montgomery County
  • YMCA Volleyball Coach
  • District Delegate – TX Annual Conference, United Methodist Church

James' passion for Law Enforcement Officers and other first responders led him to the creation of State-wide legislation enabling Bar Associations' "Helping Heroes" programs, providing free wills and related documents for police officers, firefighters, and other first responders. James has been a drafting attorney for this program since its creation.

As a 501(C)3 organization, The Woodlands Charities will help take our work to help those in need in our community, to the next level. James and his wife of 23 years, Janet reside in The Woodlands and have 2 daughters.
